With heights of over 5000 meters these mountains came into the world to change the course of the Amazon River and indeed the course of history. The Amazon became the most productive river on Earth during thousands of years of flooding the vast extension that is today the configuration 9 different nations. That tremble changed many features and today the river has a thousand faces. A fifth of the worlds fresh water flows through this arterial system.
