This first episode "Vietnam Firefight" details three pilots in the Vietnam War, all in their early 20s at the time. Each of them rush through training and suffer multiple injuries before embarking on an epic chopper rescue mission. The second episode "Taliban Gambit" tells the story of a US Navy SEAL team ambushed in Afghanistan when the Taliban shoots down their rescue helicopter. Two modified Blackhawks manned by volunteers are called in for the search and rescue operation. The third episode "White Out", brings us back to 1982 and the Falklands war zone. The British SAS plans to retake South Georgia Island but their daring mission is foiled by a violent storm. Can the rescue helicopter locate them in time?
